[QUOTE=Tralalalala;1844081]This is speaker enclosure I will build.
with a nice sealed sub..super tight. for the neighbors, know what im sayin'?
From your last drawing it looks like you are missing a brace. It mounts to the back of the baffle just under the opening that the front to back brace mounts on top of.Take a look at the last photo that I posted and you will see what I'm refering to.
The brace mounts from side to side straight across under the opening and just above the port.
One other thing if you don't want to use stands you can always mount adjustable feet on the bottom front of cabinet to tilt them up to listening position if you are in a chair or sofa,etc..
My bad, I should have noticed that.
Thanks for telling me.
And of course thank you so much for the pictures and the measurements !

Your Welcome ! It was my pleasure ! Hope your project comes out as planned.. Looking forward to your progress. What is your time frame like on building these ?
Yeah, I finally noticed I was in the crippled beta version, so switched back and all was as it should be, though I still prefer Flickr. Thanks for reminding me about Picasa and Image Shack as I have some stuff there too. My problem has been that one would work OK for awhile, then I'd be forced to try a different one, etc.. Image Shack use to lock up my machine, running the processor WFO, so hope that's still not the case.

Yeah, these cabs were designed for back when a thumping 60-120 Hz was 'real' bass and 40 Hz was ~ -24 dB on all but the best RTR tapes. Then again, until recently, this [lack of] bass response is what you got at all but a few extravaganza concerts, so many vinyl, CD recordings are this limited also. Still, with a large, low tuned cab one can EQ a bit more bass out of them and also not lose as much on recordings with more low end.
